Kathe Von Porada explains in this book the operation of a Parisian fashion house, buyers, clothing and also presents several great couturiers including Chanel, Vionnet and Poiret. A very interesting documentation on the world of Parisian couture with many illustrations including portraits of Worth, Lanvin, Vionnet, Chanel, Molyneux, Patou and Poiret.
