Silver print. Photographer's stamp "Muray Studio 38 East, 50th Street, New York" and typed caption on reverse. Caption reads: 

"Madame Geo, Parisian designer to her majesty Queen of Roumania, who will be the chief speaker at the convention of the Fashion Art League of America which will be held at the Auditorium Hotel in Chicago September 14th, 15th and 16th. Madame Géo will talk on the science of clothing, Illustrating her lectures with sketches and figure draping. She is well know to Chicago fashion audiences, having given five lectures on designing at the annual exhibition of the Chicago Academy of Fine Arte in June.

Madame Geo helds a unique position among French designers, in that she numbers among her clientele, In addition to the Queen of Romania and her royal daughters, Qeen Elizabeth of Greece and Queen Marie of Jugoslavia, many members of European nobility. The Crown Princess of Germany was, for may years before the war, a favorite client, as were many other ladies of the German Court.

Madame Geo has given much time and attention to designing men'a costume  for the interior. She has successfully created for man's Indoor wear a silken ensemble costume which combines in Its strict tailored, though loose fltting jacket and trousers, all the relaxing comfort of a lounging robe, at the same time maintaining a dignity and formality acceptable to even the most tailored taste."
